me - april '06Seen the doc today - I've been getting these 'night shakes/tremors' - been so scary. They first started a couple of days before August Bank Holiday (4 weeks ago) and woke me up, in the middle of the night, as my whole body was shaking so violently. Dave & I had no idea why - my first thought was Parkinson's (you know - because of the shaking) & Dave admitted to thinking I was having a stroke!!
It's turned out to be pills that I've been taking - I am a borderline diabetic and also have a glucose intolerance so my doctor put me on these new pills to try to control my weight and to stop me developing full-blown diabetes - I'd been taking them for almost five weeks, without problems, until this shaking business started. Last night was the FIRST night for more than 4 weeks that I haven't had the shakes at all - hopefully, that's the end of them - boy, I hope so....
NOT NICE - NOT NICE AT ALL!!
