outside temp: 4C - bright & sunnyWe need some work done to the bungalow – things that Dave would normally tackle himself as he’s more that capable, but due to his prolapsed disc isn’t going to attempt this time – like removing a very dilapidated porch (estate agent described as a timber framed ‘conservatory’), re-pointing the chimney, laying a drive and replacing guttering, fascias & soffits…see I told you he was very handy to have around the place…
So we asked our new friendly neighbours who recommended a very reliable, competent person who they’d dealt with for years and always does what he promises.
Dave phoned him the other night and he arranged to call yesterday…Guess What?? We’re still waiting for him to knock at the door…!!!
What is it with builders, plumbers, electrians, etc, etc…???
