outside temp: 6C - dull & rainy
It’s Dave’s birthday today, he’s 52….I’ve know him since he was 21..we use to work together. I was a receptionist and he was a TV engineer at a TV Rental company called Southern Rentals - they were the days when it was quite normally to rent your TV and a lot of people did… I remember one of our first meetings ended in an argument – I’d been told by my manager not to let anyone disturb the window display & Dave arrived and just started to remove one of the televisions from the window – I told him he couldn’t, he ignored me and we ended up shouting at each other. Who would have thought that we’d end up dating, getting married, having two boys & still be celebrating birthdays together after 31 years…? See, you never know what a good row will get you, do you?...It Got Me Dave - I Can't Ask For More...
