We've just returned from a quick trip to do  'food shopping' in Spilsby (tiny market town - 6 miles from here) and I feel all wobbly because it's just cost us £155 -

Well, He's Home...YiPPee...

- which is great because now I don't have to drive back & forth to the hospital (& you know how I hate driving!) - because the operation on his Ligament Flexa (left index finger) was postponed on Thursday he wasn't operated on until Friday afternoon & they kept him in overnight as they weren't completely happy with his recovery so a stay in hospital that should have been a few hours turned into a three-day epic ~  but he was in the private wing - east wing to be precise - with his own private room & bathroom so we can't really complain, can we?

He has a massive dressing on his hand and has to hold it in a sling so he has NO movement or grip in his left hand - so I'm on 'doing buttons up' & 'cutting up meat' duty
